Whisper Rock Estates maintains a full social and activities calendar to provide residents with multiple and varied opportunities to meet and enjoy their neighbors. The schedule includes two ‘signature events’ each year. The Resident’s “Welcome Back” is an elegant party in November that embraces our seasonal residents as they return to town and celebrates the long anticipated transition to mild weather for those who make their home here year ’round. Flip-flops and shorts complement margaritas and pinatas at the more casual Cinco de Mayo celebration at Whisper Rock’s private park. Other gatherings (sometimes impromptu) include happy hours, potluck BBQ’s & wine tastings.
In addition to the Cinco de Mayo celebration, kids and grand-kids have enjoyed activities such as “Stargazing”, “Movies at the Park” and “Santa Comes to Whisper Rock”. Regularly scheduled activities include bunko and yoga and Monica is available to assist residents in coordinating others. Events such as “Girl’s Night Out”, shopping parties, dinner parties at local restaurants, hikes, jewelry making, cooking seminars, wildlife seminars and other fun stuff also make their way onto the calendar!
